Vacation and the New year

At first happy new year to all the guyz reading my blog. May this new year bring happiness to your life. Sadly this new year also mark the end of a week long vacation for me. After hectic schedule of the school, this vacation was much awaited respite from the usual hectic schedule. If you are my friend then you will be glad to know that I have got pretty good grades in the first term :) . The courses of the next term will mainly focus on the photogrammtery. Currently my research is on object recognition.

This term was full of completely new experiences. The few good things which happened before coming here was that solely because of orkut(critics of orkut, gimme a brk :)), I came into contact with few guyz , who are my good friends now. I was expecting that language will not be a problem in communication unlike in europe. But I realized very soon that most of the research is carried out by asians. Working with a group of multi-nationals people in the group is fun as well as annoying sometimes. Fortunately, all the guyz in my group are so friendly and helping in nature. I was so worried about cold before coming here but later got used to it. But guyz when it reaches -40, the experience can not be described in the words. Its horrible and torturing experience. My goodness, -40 temp lasted for 2 days only. After feeling that now even -14 is not too cold for me :) . Adaptation man! we humans are good at that. I have never discussed sandeep before, he is my lucky room-mate :) . In fact I am so lucky that he is my room-mate. he is a gr8 guy and a good friend.
In the vacation, I had some bitter realizations but this is the way to learn, isnt it? Last but not the least I have started playing squash and I hope to carry on playing. Sorry to say that I am not getting enough time to play guitar. I still love my guitar and I hope that I will start making love with her pretty soon :) .
