Welcoming New Phase of My Life at Calgary

I was thinking about posting my experiences in Calgary for a long time and I am glad that I am doing it now. I am sorry about being inconsistent in updating my blog. I hope that now I won't break this habit of writting the blog. For those who dont know, I left Oracle after working there for one year, and joined masters program in geomatics engineering at University of Calgary. This is the link of my research group http://dprg.geomatics.ucalgary.ca/. lemme answer a simple question: how difficult is studying, after working for a year? Its difficult in monetary terms but feels good if you are really interested in the field you have chosen. But it brings again a lot of uncertainty and tension in life. After tasting the chill life of a MNC like oracle it is little bit difficult to again face challenging environment( Assgnments bahuuu....:) ) of an academic institution. Getting good food is also a major concern as unfortunately we indians dont get cheap food like chinese get in foreign land. Enough of this I am going to tell something about calgary now. Calgary is the largest city in the province of Alberta, Canada. Calgary is the third largest civic municipality, by population, in Canada: Courtesy Wikipedia. This place has awesome natural beauty. Shootings for movies like Tum Bin, Koi Mil Gaya, Dus etc. took place here. Unlike europe the houses are well seperated here, each one having a well maintained lawn.
I am trying to work on the camera calibration but unbale to figure out the problem with the software. I have 2 assignments too and deadlines are coming. Getting day by day crazy about songs of avril lavigne and I feel I love her:). But currently listening 'yara sili sili' by legendary lata. I will try to figure out the problem with images and you ppl enjoy and take care.
